COVID-19: 3 new symptoms of novel coronavirus infection

Ever since the coronavirus outbreak began in China, researchers and medical experts started to look out for information about the virus, in order to determine effective treatments and prevention. Initially, COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus was thought to be a respiratory illness, but as new information came in, it was found that the virus may affect almost all vital organs of the body.


The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, #CDC USA, have now added three more symptoms to the list of existing symptoms of #COVID-19. Congestion or runny nose, nausea, and diarrhoea were added to the list. Symptoms already include in the list were – fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, loss of smell or taste, and sore throat.
