As   X-Ray imaging is done in most of the disease condition, its effects should be   fully understood by the population. The adverse effects of X-Ray have been   linked with cancer and helped researchers study about the cancer risk in   adults and children. People who were exposed to significant amount of X-Rays   were shown to develop severe forms of dermatoses, cataract, hematological   disorders and various cancers.
   Radiations are used in diagnosis, but a study conducted in the UK estimated   that upto 20 percent of the medical x-rays are not beneficial and thus is   responsible for the radiation. Thus awareness and knowledge among the general   population is important.
