Trigeminal neuralgia is a rare nerve disorder characterised by shock like pain, abrupt on onset. Sometimes TN is misdiagnosed due to non-availability of clear physical or laboratory diagnosis. Hence left untreated, leads to complication. Thus, there is a need to diagnose the patients having TN so that to get early treatment and preventing the complication as soon as possible.
